I’m proud to release version 1.0 of MintToReport. I have been using this application now for a year. I wasn’t originally going to release it and just continue to use it for myself. It really was just an exercise in report generation for other applications that I write. But after seeing how many people that use Mint.com kept asking the same question that I have asked in the past. Where are the printable reports on Mint.com? Well, to make it simple, there is no reporting built into Mint.com.
Mint.com is owned by Intuit. As a registered user of both Quicken and Quickbooks (both owned by Intuit) and as a developer I can understand why they don’t offer printable reports for free on Mint.com. The reporting that Intuit has built into these 2 products is excellent. MintToReport in no way is to replace the reporting built into these 2 great programs, but it was designed to just add printable reports for the Mint.com data.
