Both the Bar and Pie Charts can be drilled down just like the Reports. And since they use the same filters as the reports, when drilling down either chart will update the filters. Clicking on the Reports Tab will display a matching report to the chart that you have created.
So, if you want to see a pie chart including only the ‘Shopping’ category, select only the category ‘Shopping’, leaving the rest unchecked. The bar chart will show only the Shopping category totals by month and the pie chart will show all of its subcategories. Then, clicking on the Report Tab will give you a report matching the transactions that created the chart. Both the Reports and Charts work together.
The charts can also be drilled down. Clicking on the Bar Chart will first drill down to either income or expense. Drilling down further will continue to show you details of just that category. Continue to drill down will result in a report showing just that one category.
